Special case - external domains

External domains are a special case of resource management.

As a rule, all university services can be offered under the central domain uni-greifswald.de. However, there may be reasons for using a different domain. In accordance with the Rectorate's decision of 31 March 2010, the URZ can provide you with such a domain if either the Rectorate or the relevant dean's office agrees with your reasons for requiring an external domain. In this case, the URZ will also cover the costs for the external domain.

Please note the relevant reason in the description field and enter either an employee of the Rectorate or the relevant dean's office as the approver.

Please note that umlaut domains cannot be used.
