Information for departments
If you are having a guest in your department, it is assumed that you have already had contact with them in advance. Due to the electronic workflow for guest accounts, the applicant must explicitly specify an authorising person.
Please provide your guest with the email address of the authorising person, which they must enter in the application process. This must be a personal e-mail address (not a functional account).
Authorisation of an application
The approval of an account application is carried out by the respective department, as this is a technical/content-related check that cannot be carried out by the University Computer Centre. After approval, the URZ carries out the technical check and sets up the account.
