Set up two-factor authentication
Setting up two-factor authentication for your account for the first time involves:
- setting up an authenticator app such as KeePassXC or FreeOTP to generate TOTP codes
- and linking the TOTP secret (secret key) to your account.
If you have multiple accounts, you will need to set up 2FA separately for each account so that you have a separate TOTP entry in the Authenticator app for each account.
The procedure is explained in detail for KeePassXC and FreeOTP. If you wish to use a different TOTP-compatible authenticator app, you will need to adapt the procedure accordingly.
