ChromeOS
The following instructions describe the organisation of eduroam on devices with the ChromeOS operating system.
An internet connection is required for the organisation of easyroam (e.g. cable, UniHGW-Offen or mobile).
Create and download configuration profile
Firstly, log in to https://easyroam.de.
After logging in, select "Manual options". Set the Open Network Config (ChromeOS) option and give the profile a name of your choice.
Now click on "Generate access". The new Easyroam profile is generated and downloaded automatically.
Install profile
The downloaded easyroam profile file must then be loaded into the network manager. To do this, first enter the URL chrome://network in the built-in browser. The downloaded file can then be imported on the page under"Import ONC file".
Once this has been done, eduroam will appear in the list of known networks and the device can be connected.
